Tractor driver buried alive under iron rods in Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI: Tractor driver was reportedly buried alive under iron rods in the area of Kalar Syedan on Monday, according to reports.

Tractor driver Riaz Ahmad, 50 was hired to transport 15 tonnes of the iron rods from Islamabad to an under-construction home in the Sahot Bidhal village. During the process of unloading the cargo, the rods fell on him resulting in him dying on the spot.

Rescue 1122 rushed to the scene and pulled out the body of. It was sent to Tehsil Headquarters hospital for postmortem inspection.
