Rangers, police arrest suspected street criminals during multiple raids

Pakistan Rangers and Sindh police arrested several suspected street criminals during targeted raids in various parts of the metropolis on Sunday.

Reportedly, Ranger sindh arrested two suspected dacoit during raid in Firozabad.

According to Rangers spokeman, the arrested suspects identified as Muhammad Numan and Jashwant were involved in robberies and a cache of illegal weapons, ammunition and looted items were recovered from their possession. Rangers have handed over the suspects to police for further investigation.

Baldia Town and Docks Police claimed that they arrested two suspected drug peddlers and recovered hashish from their possession. According to Baldia Town police, they conduct targeted a raid in the area and arrested a suspected drug peddler identified as Munsif Afridi, and recovered four kilograms (kgs) of hashish from his possession.

Meanwhile, Docks police claimed that they arrested a suspected female drug peddler and recovered heroin, Hashish, Rs 65, 000 in cash, eleven stolen cell phones from her custody.

Pakistan Bazaar Police claimed that they arrested three suspected street criminals during a raid in the area. According to police officials, police also recovered a cache of illegal weapons including drugs. The police also said that they recovered two motorcycles from possession of suspects. On the other hand, Baloch Colony Police alleged that they arrested 3 suspected absconders namely Bilal, Bilawal and Asif. Kharadar Police also claimed that they arrested a suspected street criminal and recovered illegal weapon and looted valuable from his possession.

Separately, Sir Syed Police claimed that they arrested two suspected dacoit during a police raid. According to police, the suspects were involved in above twenty robberies cases. Police have lodged FIR against the suspects and further investigation is underway.
