IG inaugurates Resource Management System to improve policing in Dadu

Sindh Inspector General of Police (IGP) Amjad Javed Saleemi on late Saturday inaugurated a Resource Management System (RMS) in Dadu Police Headquarters to maintain an online record of complaints and resolve them in an effective manner.

Reportedly, he addressed the media during the inauguration programme and stated that 10,000 people had lodged complaints against the Sindh police out of the total 3 crore population of Sindh.

He said that police has been striving to improve services and efficiency on the priority basis; however the public needed to cooperate with police officers.

He appealed to parents for guiding their children regarding the role of police in terms of providing protection and security to the general public.

He said that people had celebrated Eidul Azha with their families while officers had been performing their duties for the maintenance of law and order, and urged them to respect officers.

He also assured them that police would eradicate flaws and defects from the system.

Later, he inspected stores and display rooms which were made operational under the RMS and appreciated and urged officers to enhance their capability while performing duty.

Besides, Hyderabad Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIGP) Sultan Khawaja, Dadu Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Tanvir Ahmed Tunio, members of civil society and citizens were also present on the occasion.

Earlier, IGP Saleemi visited the Shrine of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar where Jamshoro SSP Bashir Ahmed Birohi and Jamshoro headquarter SP Suhai Aziz Talpur accompanied him.

The police chief has been inaugurating the RMS in all headquarters of Sindh police across the province.
