Pakistan football squad off to Bangladesh

LAHORE: Pakistan football team captain Saddam Hussein has said that his players are in high spirits and will put on a good show in the SAFF Championship in Bangladesh. Pakistan squad left for Bangladesh here on Saturday morning with a high morale with their Brazilian head coach Jose Antonio Nogueira and Brazilian trainer Jose Portella. The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) for the first time has provided an opportunity to the national squad to train with top class foreign coaches. Due to the extensive work out routine, the stamina and ruggedness of the players has increased, it also enhanced their reflexes and body strength. The team members are in the best shape and are going into the SAFF Championships with the ambition not only to perform well but also win the title. Saddam has been appointed as captain of the national squad for the season 2018-19. The decision has been made to ensure that there is continuity in policy of the national team and a sense of security being provided to the captain.
