KHAIPUR: The Naushahro Feroze Additional District and Session Judge (DSJ) on Thursday announced a verdict in a murder case of a youth Imran Ali Khawaja by awarding life imprisonment to two police constables and three-year jail time to a former station house officer (SHO).
Reportedly, Imran Ali Khawaja was kidnapped and murdered eight years ago by two police constables Ilyas Saheto and Ghlam Rasool Saheto with the support of SHO Mureed Mari of the Phull police station in Khairpur. The court also imposed a fine of Rs 200,000 on both constables.
SALU implements strict examination criteria for LLB students
Shah Abdul Latif University (SALU) controller of examinations Ghulam Shabbir Phulpoto on Thursday inspected examination centers of LLB in the university’s campus in Khairpur.
Reportedly, Faculty of Social Sciences Dean Prof Dr Imdad Hussain Sahito, Advocate Shahid Hussain Qureshi, Faculty of Law Dean Prof Dr Chandan Lal and Prof Dr Mumtaz Junejo were also present on the occasion. The controller said that Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Parveen Shah had ordered zero tolerance on any unfair activity or cheating case during the examinations for uplifting quality education in the SALU.
