ISLAMABAD: Dr. Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan has been designated as the chairman of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and secretary of the Revenue Division.
A notification was issued on Tuesday which read that Khan, a BS-22 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service, will now serve as FBR chairman after a bureaucratic reshuffle.

Similarly, Dr. Muhammad Suleman Khan has been appointed as Director General Intelligence Bureau, replacing Ehsan Ghani, who had been serving the slot by the caretaker government in June this year.
Khan had previously served as the National Coordinator for the National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA).
Dr. Suleman, the NACTA coordinator has been replaced by Mehar Khalid Dad Lak.
The reshuffle took place on Tuesday after Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan approved the new appointments in the federal bureaucracy.
