This he said while speaking to the media after his visit to Quaid-e-Azam’s mausoleum. Imrain Ismail, who took his oath on Monday, offered Fateha and laid a floral wreath over Jinnah’s grave.
Imran Ismail told the media that the issue of water shortage in the metropolis was a serious one and a project will be started to resolve it at the earliest.
He further said that he would work for the development of the province with all of its political parties and any deadlocks will be resolved with the help of the federal government. “I am here to give my life for the sake of development and prosperity of Sindh,” he said.
Earlier, Chief Justice of Sindh High Court, Justice Ahmed Ali Shaikh had administered the oath to Imran Ismail as the 33rd Governor of Sindh.
The ceremony held at Governor House and was attended by Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Murad Ali and his cabinet members along with presidential candidate Dr. Arif Alvi, members of parliament, senior officials, diplomats and envoys from different countries.
Political activists and people from different walks of life were also present on the occasion.
