Man, wife found dead in Civil Hospital’s quarters in Khairpur

A man and his wife were found dead in the Khairpur Civil Hospital’s quarters on Monday.

Following the information, officers of the B-Section police station rushed to the crime spot and shifted the deceased’s bodies to the hospital for autopsy.

Police also recovered a pistol from the scene which could be the murder weapon used in the murder or alleged suicide case.

According to sources, a year ago Sukkur Electric Power Company (SEPCO) line superintendent (LS) Khair Muhammad Meerani married a senior nurse of the hospital, identified as Raheela Mirbahar.

Meanwhile, police have lodged an FIR while further investigation is underway.
