Upgradation of 24 schools in Rawalpindi approved

RAWALPINDI: The upgradation of 24 schools in Rawalpindi has been accorded approval by the Punjab government besides launching double shift in those schools.

Six primary schools will be upgraded to middle schools and four middle schools to high schools.

Meanwhile, double shift will be launched in 14 high schools as the strength of students is beyond the capacity of these schools. More teachers will be inducted in those schools which are facing shortage of teachers.

The implementation will take place from March 01.
