JUI-F told to highlight Indian atrocities in front of Sartaj Aziz

ISLAMABAD: Chairman Senate Raza Rabbani has directed the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl to raise the issues of foreign affairs, including Indian atrocities in Indian-held Kashmir and terrorism in Balochistan in the Senate.

Senator Hafiz Hamdullah on Wednesday said on a point of order that Pakistani culture and civilisation are being pushed towards darkness while screening of the Indian movies and dramas was permitted.

“Fascist movies and dramas are being screened in Pakistani cinemas and TV channels. Indian troops are allegedly involved in massacre in held Kashmir. Indian secret agencies are being involved in destabilizing Pakistan in close connection with Afghan agencies through terror activities in Balochistan and other parts of the country,” he added.

“Conspiracies are being hatched against Pakistan. The killing of innocent youths in Occupied Kashmir and even the Muslim women were not safe of Indian Forces and our government is going to promote friendship with India. Our country is being pushed towards conflict and instability and we are facing the condition of uncertainty. India is responsible of this situation.”

He further said the rulers have become merciless as drama of bilateral dialogue with India is being staged.

On this, Raza Rabbani directed him to raise the issue in the House before the Sartaj Aziz, advisor to PM on foreign affairs.

Hamdullah said the Pakistan Army is being targeted by Indian troops on Line of Control. He said the Senate has evolved 20-point recommendations, demanding to ban Pakistani movies and dramas was made and questioned that whether movies are being banned to protect the investors.
