MIRPUR KHAS: The provincial health department in collaboration with the social welfare department organized an awareness session regarding HIV/AIDS at the Civil Hospital on Wednesday. Addressing the session, Civil Surgeon Dr. Asghar Arain said that AIDS is a curable disease. He said the HIV transmits through blood donation, tattooing on hands or arms, ear, nose piercing, sweat, blood of affected patient, and others. He further said that AIDS timely detection is important . The affected patient can survive for maximum two to three years.
