ISLAMABAD: Police officials, just to drag out their colleague from the Taimur Riaz murder case, have termed in their report that the incident was the result of an unintentional action of the murderer, policeman Samiullah Niazi.

The eyewitness of the case, Sonia alias Anam, who was sitting in the car with Taimoor Riaz at the time of his murder has been shifted to some unknown place along with her parents after recording the statement according to the wishes of police. The relatives of Taimoor could not make any contact with her. The sources said that her parents had also changed their house in Lahore. Two cellular phones were recovered for the vehicle of the deceased. It is known that both the mobile phones were owned by the killer, Constable Samiullah Niazi , which had fallen in the car during the search and he forgot them while fleeing from the crime scene. Police in its report said that Taimoor tried to run away by hitting the police check post but there was not even a single scratch on the front side of his car.
