Govt sought military’s assistance for transparent census in Sindh

KARACHI: The federal government has sought military’s assistance for ensuring a transparent census process across the province.

The electoral reforms will help ensuring transparent elections in the Sindh province.

The governor was talking to a Jamaat Islami delegation headed by Hafiz Naeem Rehman, who called on him in Governor House here on Wednesday.

Mohammad Zubair said that his doors were open for all political forces in the province. The government will ensure equal opportunities of politics to all, he said, adding that he will contact all political parties of the province.

Sindh governor informed that the federal government is seeking the military’s assistance for ensuring a transparent census process in the province. He also said with the electoral reforms transparent elections will be ensured in Sindh.

He urged that everyone would have to cooperate for Sindh’s development.Karachi is the economic hub of Pakistan and its progress is linked with the future of the country.
