KARACHI: Three people including a woman have died and two have become injured when a truck- container (trailer) overturned in Korangi area of city here on Thursday, rescues sources have informed.
The accident took place near Qayyumabad Chowrangi area of Karachi, and the injured were taken to Jinnah Postgraduate and Medical Center Karachi in unstable condition.
SHO Korangi Industrial Area, Nawaz Gondal has told Daily Times that truck with container fell off on the motorcyclists and other people besides on the footpath.
He added only two men among the five victims have been identified as Mushtaq and another man identified as Momin Khan was the resident of District Tang, and helper on the truck.
“The Diver fled away after accident while his helper died on the spot” Gondal informefd.
However, this is the fourth major amongst eight accidents during the last 10 days in Karachi.
