Arif Alvi nominated for president’s slot

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Spokesman Fawad Chaudhry on Saturday said Prime Minister Imran Khan has nominated party leader Arif Alvi for the post of president of Pakistan.

Incumbent President Mamnoon Hussain’s tenure ends on September 4.

Alvi emerged victorious from NA-247 Karachi during the July 25 general election.
