Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi thanks all his well wishers for supporting him

There was rush of people at the residence of Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi on Friday as everyone came to extend their felicitations on Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PMLQ) Senior Central Leader Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi on being elected as Punjab Assembly speaker.

Punjab Caretaker Chief Minister Dr Hassan Askari also presented him with a bouquet.

Besides him, others who extended their felicitations included Caretaker Law Minister Zia H Rizvi and Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) members of Provincial Assembly and prominent personalities.

Expressing gratitude to them, Pervaiz Elahi said that his success was possible due to blessings of Almighty Allah and he was heartily grateful to PTI Chairman Imran Khan, PTI, Assembly members and all of his friends and colleagues.

Elahi congratulated Punjab Caretaker CM Dr Hassan Askari on successfully and without any criticism completing the caretaker tenure and holding elections impartially.

He expressed the hope that Punjab will once again become all green and the journey of progress and prosperity which the province had started in 2002 will move speedily towards its destination.
