FATA: Terrorists opened fire from across the Afghan border at a Pakistani border post in Khyber Agency in the wee hours of Friday.

A press release issued by the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), in reaction to this incident, stated that Pakistan army returned fire across the border and militant casualties were reported by sources while a few soldiers sustained minor injuries.

The Pak-Afghan border was shutdown by the ISPR with immediate effect and it would be kept closed until further notice due to security concerns after a bomb ripped apart a Shrine in Sindh claiming several innocent lives.

This move comes after Pakistan was hit by a blast for the 5th time in less than a week.
