As many as 43 terrorists killed in countrywide crackdown after Sehwan blast

KARACHI: Security agencies unleashed a massive crackdown against terrorists and extremists and killed 43 terrorists during encounters in different parts of the country, including 18 in Karachi alone.

In Karachi, 11 alleged terrorists were killed during a raid in Maghopir area, while 7 other terrorists were killed at Kathore near Super Highway.

In Dera Ismail Khan, two accused were killed during an encounter with police. In Peshawar, three were killed during a search operation in the Regi area.

In Orakzai Agency, six terrorists were killed and while four were killed in Bannu.
