MUMBAI:’ Bajirao Masti’ starlet Deepika Padukone has been asked to act in Siddharth Anand’s Indo-Chinese project.
According to sources, this project is said to be helmed by ‘Bang Bang’ director and Chinese actor Dang Chow will play as the male lead. Siddharth had his eyes set on both Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra for the female protagonist’s role but according to media, ‘Tamasha’ actress has already bagged the role.
Earlier in January, she appeared alongside Vin Diesel in ‘XxX: Return of Xancer Cage’. Currently, Deepika is working in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s latest project ‘Padmavati’.
