Hyderabad BISE declares Matric results: Girls clinch 15 out of 16 top positions

The Hyderabad Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) on Thursday announced the results of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Part-II annual examinations of science and general groups of class 10, in which girls clinched 15 out of the total 16 top positions.

Reportedly, Umme Romana and Sonal Fatima of the Hayat Girls Higher Secondary School secured the top two positions while Muskan Fatima of Community Based High School Tando Muhammad Khan grabbed the third position.

Out of the total 41,432 boys and 23,986 girls who appeared, 33,370 boys and 21,473 girls passed the examinations, respectively.

The candidates belonged to 11 districts: Hyderabad, Matiari, Tando Allahyar, Tando Muhammad Khan, Jamshoro, Dadu, Thatta and Sujawal, Badin and Shaheed Benazirabad (formerly Nawabshah).

The schools which achieved 100 percent ‘passing’ results include Public School Hyderabad, St. Bonaventure School, Army Public School Cantt, Rangers HS Hali Road, Workers HS Site, Strong Base School, Air Foundation, Bahria School, County Cambridge and Beacon House School Qasimabad.
