SALU drafts new prospectus for incoming students

The Shah Abdul Latif University (SALU) on Thursday held a consultative meeting of its Prospectus Committee at the Syndicate Hall of SALU in Khairpur.

Reportedly, SALU Pro-Vice Chancellor (PVC) Prof Dr Muhammad Yousuf Khushk presided over the meeting with deans of faculties, the director of admissions, the director of sub-campuses, the heads of departments, the director of evening programmes and the registrar.

Meanwhile, they briefed the meeting about the information which was to be incorporated in the prospectus for uniformity and comprehensiveness for the new students after analysing the respective feedbacks of all departments of the university.

The prospectus will contain the university’s profile, courses being offered, fee structure, eligibility criteria for admissions and information regarding semester rules for the convenience of new students.

Separate prospectuses for Shikarpur, Ghotki and Shahdadkot were also recommended during the meeting.
