LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Shehbaz Sharif has said on Friday that the attack on a protest on Mall Road, outside Punjab Assembly, that claimed 14 lives on February 13 was done by a suicide bomber from Afghanistan.

The CM delivered a press briefing in Lahore over the progress made in the probe.

Shehbaz said that the bomber’s facilitator, named Anwaarul Haq, belonged to Bajaur Agency and brought the bomber to Lahore.

Computerised National Identity Card of the facilitator and his confessional video was disclosed by the Government of Punjab in the briefing on Friday that has come in on the fourth day of blast.
