SAL University holds reference for Sehwan martyrs

KHAIRPUR: A Condolence Reference for the martyrs of Hazrat Sakhi Lal Shahbaz Qalandar Sehwan Sharif Carnage was held at Qazi Hall, Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur on Friday.

A large number of teachers, officers, employees and students attended the reference. Surah-e-Fatiha was offered for the departed souls of the Shewan carnage terror attack in which precious lives were assassinated.

The participants of the reference demanded that the Government to take stringent security measures to secure the devotees at all the shrines, mosques, imam bargah’s and other prominent places.

The participants also prayed for the security, integrity and peace for the country. They condemned the wave of recent terror attacks countrywide. The participants stressed the need to forge unity for peace, harmony and stability of Pakistan.

Prof. Dr. Muhammad Yousuf Khushk, Prof. Dr. Mumtaz Hussain Mahar, Prof. Dr. Badaruddin Memon, Prof. Dr. Minhoon Khan Laghari, Prof. Dr. Ikhtiar Ali Ghumro, Prof. Dr. Taj Muhammad Lashari, Mahsooq Ali Mahar, Syed Mehdi Shah Rashdi, Ghulam Hussain Phulpoto, Haji Faiz Muhammad Phulpoto, Aslam Ghumro, Qalandar Bux Bozdar and large number of teachers, officers and employees attended the reference.

Meanwhile a meeting of the Sindhi Speakers Forum was held under the chairmanship of Ghaffar Mahar in which Surah-e-Fateh was offered for those who died in the Shewan terror attack. Ghaffar Mahar strongly condemned the alleged lapse of security as the cause of incident.
