RAWALPINDI: Rawalpindi Cantonment Board anti-encroachment teams claimed to have seized eights trucks and sealed seven shops during the ongoing crackdown against encroachment in the area.
The operation was conducted in Masriyal Road, Tench Bata, Bakra Mandi, 22 number Chungi, Peoples Colony, Ahmedabad, Chauntra, Dhok Syedeain, Kamalabad, Ashan Colony, Marbel Facotry and Usmania Colony and adjoining areas.
Over 120 traders were served notices, while 80 were slapped with fines. Moreover, 35 building owners were served notices for illegal construction in various Cantt areas of Rawalpindi.
