‘Invencible – Unbroken’

‘Invencible – Unbroken’ is another must-watch movie. The sports-drama movie, directed by American actress, filmmaker, and humanitarian Angelina Jolie, revolves around Louis “Louie” Zamperini, who always finds himself in trouble and is more often than not helped by his brother.

Louie has a low self-esteem which makes him underestimate himself, but his brother sparks the much need inspiration and strength in him which helps him qualify for the 1936 Olympics.

Later as World War 2 begins, Louie finds himself enlisted in the military. During one of the battles, his plane crashes into the Pacific Ocean but he somehow survives and is captured by the Japanese Navy. They torture him particularly and send him to a POW camp, where he is subjected to further abuse by the commander of the camp when the latter comes to know that he was an athlete and participated in the Olympics.
