‘Azadi Jashan Night’ held at Alhamra

LAHORE: The Lahore Arts Council on Monday arranged a colourful Azadi Jashan Night to pay tribute to heroes who contributed in the Pakistan Movement.

The ceremony was arranged in connection to the Independency Day and was attended by LAC Boards of Governor Chairman Touqeer Nasir, LAC Executive Director Atta Muhammad Khan, TV drama serial writer and poet Asghar Nadeem Syed, Pakistani famous playback singer Naheed Akhtar, Zulfqar Ali Zulfi, singers and people from all walks of life.

Several artists performed on the occasion. Naheed Akhtar performed on ‘Jiwa Pakistan’ and ‘Azeem Parcham’ which enthralled the audience. Apart from that, Ustad Abdul Rauf, Eman Fatima and Ashan Ashraf performed on Pakistani partriotic songs like ‘I love my Pakistan’, ‘Mera Paigham Pakistan’ and many others.
