National Assembly session commences in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly session for the oath taking of Pakistan’s 15th National Assembly is being held today.

MNA elects will take oath today and no MNA is allowed to deliver a speech today. The session is being presided by Ayaz Sadiq, marking his last session as speaker in his 5 year tenure.

The election for the Speaker and Deputy Speaker will be held on 15th August and the election of the Prime Minister will be held on 17th August.

The Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan chairman is likely to become Prime Minister and he will take oath in the presidency on 18th August.
