KARACHI: Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) will participate with Pakistan pavilion in Automechanika Dubai to be held from May 7 to 9, 2017. TDAP is providing subsidized stalls to increase the exports of auto parts and systems, products related to repair and maintenance of cars, trucks and lubricants. Each stand is available for only Rs 250,000.
Automechanika Dubai is the leading industry event for automotive components, accessories and the entire aftermarket segment as well as refueling and car washing in the Middle East and Africa. Automechanika Dubai brings together all relevant professionals from the automotive manufacturing, distribution and repair sectors in the region and provides opportunities for small and middle enterprises to setup in the market. It is designed to bring OEM and aftermarket buyers, shop owners, technicians and distributors together under one roof.
Automechanika Dubai offers a unique breadth and depth of aftermarket products. Automechanika Dubai 2016 set another record with 2,017 exhibitors (90% international) participation from 58 countries and 30,018 visitors (51% international) from 138 countries. Last year, nine companies from Pakistan participated in Automechanika Dubai. Among them six were from TDAP.
The event aims to raise the bar in products, equipment and services available for the automotive aftermarket in the wider Middle East region by bringing international manufacturers and suppliers together with regional distributors and buyers.
In 2016, 25 countries including Australia, Brazil, China, Egypt, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Iran, Italy, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Pakistan, Peru, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Taiwan, Netherlands,Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey, UK and US Ahad organised their pavilions.
