SUKKUR: Sindh minister for Information & Archives Syed Nasir Hussain Shah Saturday has said that Sindh’s people know very well that who was conspiring against the members of Joint Investigation Team (JIT) probing the corruption scandals against the Sharif family on Saturday at Press Club.

Addressing a press conference, he said that it was impossible for anyone to understand the logic of PML-N member who distributed confessionary over the SC judgment of April 12 in which 3 out of 5 honorable judges recommended to form a JIT to probe a graft case against the PM and his sibling.

Minster stated that instead of distribution of “Ras Gulla” over the judgment, Nawaz Sharif should have resigned from the Prime minister seat as two honorable judges had given clear-cut decision against the Nawaz Sharif.

Responding to a question about the electoral pact of different parties against PPP in Sindh as well as the rest of the provinces he replied that this was not the first time that such so called deals were orchestrated against PPP, the future will tell the real tale of these pacts.

When asked about the defection of senior members of the party all over Pakistan particularly in Punjab, Nasir Shah said each had their own will to remain with any party but time will prove that their decision was inaccurate to leave party whose roots were in masses.

He denied the reports of Mahar brothers’ defection from PPP and said rivals were spreading rumors to create uncertainty amongst the party workers by leveling such baseless allegations.

Regarding the annulment of NAB ordinance Shah said, there was no truth in reports that such annulment was done as to save Dr Asim memon and Sharjeel memon from NAB but it was abrogated only because Sindh Govt has their own mechanism to control corruption.
