If you ever need a boost of energy at any point of the day, then caffeine is always your best helper. Coffee is one of the most caffeinated drinks there is and choosing the one that suits you most is an important task. So, here are the top 5 types of coffees to help you stay active throughout the day.

Espresso

This is the most basic and strongest type of coffee as it is mostly made up of about more than 90 percent espresso. It is formed by forcing steam through ground coffee beans, which contain high levels of caffeine.

Black in color, even though it has an immensely bitter taste, due to its limited ingredients, if one gets used to it, it can be useful as well as addictive in the long run, for people tend to subconsciously forget how to function without the boost of energy it provides their body.

Cappuccino

This is a favourite of many coffee lovers who not only consume coffee in order to increase their adrenaline levels but also for its soothing taste.

This coffee contains low levels of espresso and milk, both, in equal amounts and is topped off with milk foam.

Latte

Not everyone can tell the difference between a cappuccino and a latte as their ingredients are almost the same and have minimal variation. Lattes contain more milk than espresso and, contrary to popular belief, no milk foam.

It isn’t too useful to boost energy from too low to extremely high levels as it contains only traces of espresso but it tastes great and is beneficial when only a small kick is needed to power you through whatever it is you need to do.

Mocha

This coffee is meant not only for caffeine lovers but for chocolate lovers as well. It is an exquisite blend of espresso, chocolate syrup and milk – with milk being added in the highest quantity.

It gives your taste buds the illusion of having a chocolate drink along with providing just enough caffeine to fuel your fire.

Americano

This being a comparatively lesser-known type of coffee than the ones listed above has a unique recipe, unlike the rest. Instead of milk, along with the espresso, water is added to it, in order to perfect its taste. It’s a delight to consume due to its distinctive flavour and properly fulfills the purpose of getting you through the day with an active mindset as well.

All that being said, having too much caffeine can be dangerous to one’s health and hence, consumption of coffee needs to be moderated at all times, regardless of your age.
