LARKANA: Four members of a family were attacked over a matrimonial dispute on Friday. Two of them died on the spot while the others suffered bullet injuries.

The incident involved two rival groups of the Jatoi community residing in Moosa Jatoi village in the limits of Hatri Ghulam Shah.

The deceased were identified as Hakim Ali Jatoi and Zamir Ali Jatoi. They were both cousins. The injured were Udyo Jatoi and his son Rahmatullah Jatoi.

Witnesses told Daily Times that the bodies were brought in a Datsun pickup at the Chandka Medical College Hospital for an autopsy, but due to absence of any medical and legal officer at the venue, bodies remained unattended in the scorching heat for hours.

Speaking to the media personnel, Moran Khatoon Jatoi, an heir of the deceased, said that the accused have already killed their four other family members in a dispute. She said that the accused attacked their house on Friday and killed two other men and injured a father and son. She alleged that no arrests have yet been made by the Police nor any FIR has been registered against the murderers yet.
