MUMBAI: ‘King Khan’ has been offered a role in American TV show Dirk Gently by executive producer Arvind Ethan David.

One cannot ever question the fact that SRK is a superstar because he even gets roles offered to him on his Twitter account.

Arvind Ethan David found Shah Rukh Khan’s tweet on Douglas Adam’s novel being a TV series. While SRK was enthralled by his discovery, the executive producer expressed that he was honoured to find that Shah Rukh Khan is a ‘Dirk Gently’ fan and that SRK should guest star on the second season.

It was as simple as that. Arvind Ethan David couldn’t handle his excitement when he found out that ‘Bollywood’s Badshah’ likes Dirk Gently. Well, it looks like SRK has a fan among the series’ team.

Arvind tweeted, “It’s possible I got a bit too excited that ShahRukhKhan likes dirkgently — do you think he noticed?”

Before Arvind’s fans could react to his tweet, SRK didn’t waste a second and accepted the offer.

‘King Khan’ tweeted back, asking Arvind for the time and location. “Let me know the time and place. Will figure out my own accommodation”, Shah Rukh wrote.

Arvind sealed the deal as he wrote back, “Done & done!”

Dirk Gently is a science fiction series based on the Holistic Detective Agency, which investigate cases that involve supernatural elements.

This isn’t the first time ‘King Khan’ has expressed his liking towards the mystery and crime genre. SRK has previously tweeted that he enjoyed ‘Narcos’ and that he likes mystery that involves detectives and agents.

Considering Shah Rukh Khan’s interest in his genre, there are chances fans will be getting to see SRK guest starring on this show.  Fans have their fingers crossed.
