Second death anniversary of victims of Quetta Civil Hospital blast being observed

QUETTA: The city is set to observe the second death anniversary of the victims of the Quetta Civil Hospital blast on 8th August, 2016.

The blast in Balochistan Civil Hospital occurred when the dead body of Bilal Anwar, President of the Balochistan Bar Association, was brought to the hospital.

74 people, including 54 lawyers were killed in the attack and over 100 people were reported to be injured.

The lawyers associations of the province have organized a seminar in the memory of the victims at the Balochistan High Court. Lawyers from all over the country are expected to attend.

Court proceedings have been boycotted and a day of mourning has been announced.
