LARKANA: Police has tightened security around all shrines and vital installations in the district and special vigilance is being maintained through the checking of devotees as well as strict patrolling in the vicinity of mosques, Imambarghas, temples, and other religious places. Following the directions from SSP Umar Tufail, elaborate security arrangements are being maintained; metal detectors are being used to check devotees and people entering & exiting from various cities. Meanwhile, Larkana Police along with Pak Rangers conducted a search operation in various areas of the district while conducting door-to-door checking in slums, inns, hotels, vacant houses, newly settled houses, and restaurants while checking their complete record of residency. During operation, police arrested 20 suspects and their interrogation is currently underway. These measures are being taken to ensure foolproof security and to keep vigilant for suspicious individuals.
