LONDON: Rangers have continued their recruitment drive by signing Croatia defender Borna Barisic from NK Osijek on a four-year deal, the Scottish club said on Tuesday. The 25-year-old, who impressed manager Steven Gerrard when the teams met in the Europa League second qualifying round recently, became Rangers’ 11th signing of the close season. Barisic, capped three times by Croatia, was named in their provisional World Cup squad but missed on going to the tournament in Russia where they finished as runners-up after losing in the final to France.
