Soomro said, that water shortage in Sindh is a planned effort to pave way for constructing Kala Bagh. He took on to CJP by saying that ” CJP by campaigning for Kala Bagh Dam is putting salt on the wounds of people of Sindh but we will not allow Sindh to become dry”.
JUI(F) member further added that CJP should focus on his primary job to give justice to the people. He said that justice is the need of the hour for the people of Sindh, who have repeatedly complaint about their water being stolen and their lands getting infertile, but CJP has paid no attention to this issue.
Along with acute water scarcity the contamination of water is another issue, widely prevalent in the Province.” People have no other choice other than to drink contaminated water” said Soomro. The JUI(F) member is the brother of Rashid Mahmood Soomro who contested election on NA-200 against PPP’s Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
