NAWABSHAH: A woman allegedly killed her two daughters on Monday night in the Daur Tehsil of the city.
According to the husband, the woman was mentally retarded and locked her three daughters in a trunk for irritating her.
The girls include nine-month-old Amna, seven-year-old Sania, and a nine-year-old. Amna and Sania were reportedly suffocated when their mother locked them in the trunk.
While the nine-year-old was taken to the hospital after she was found in a critical condition.
An investigation about the incident is underway, the police stated.
