Karachi Development Authority’s Director General, Mr. Samiuddin Siddiqui said that “we are making efforts for the wellbeing of citizens and employees on priority basis but in past due to financial crisis not only prestige of department was affected but officers and employees also suffered”.

He said that salaries of all the employees and officers delayed initially due to general election on 25th July in which almost two thousand employees and officers were on election duties which obstructed the salary transfer process. He said that the salary transfer process has started now and another salary would be given before 14th August.

The Director General maintained that “Employees and officers are our strengths and full assistance would be given to solve all the issues and problems of the employees”. He also praised the efforts of all the officers and employees who helped Karachi Development Authority get out of financial instability.
