PESHAWAR: A local leader of Khatm-e-Nabuwat conference, Maulana Kaleemullah Khan, was shot dead in front of his home by unidentified assailants in Charsadda on Sunday, an official said.
The police official disclosed that unidentified armed men opened indiscriminate fire on the leader in Bolkhail Town area of Charsadda and fled, leaving Kaleemullah dead on the spot.
Police shifted the body to the hospital for an autopsy and started collecting evidence from the crime scene. Police also launched a search operation in the area to arrest the culprits involved in the attack.
