NAUNDERO: A street vendor on Monday protested in front of local press club against his father-in-law for not permitting his wife and children to return back.
Reportedly, Imam Bux Solangi, a father of 11 children, said that he went to Karachi to earn money, and left his wife and children at his in-laws home, but when he returned back, his father-in-law Dhani Bux Solangi demanded Rs 40,000 from him to send them with him.
He said that he had already paid Rs 120,000 to him before going to Karachi.
Solangi said that his father-in-law has threatened him to either pay the extra amount or he would seek divorce of his daughter and implicate him in false cases.
He appealed to the concerned authorities for helping him secure his wife and children.
