KARACHI: A Rangers encounter with alleged terrorists in the Malir area left seven suspects killed and one Rangers officials injured on Sunday.
Sources said that the Rangers carried out a search operation in the Shah Latif town area in Malir.
The terrorists opened fire on the Rangers. An exchange subsequently occurred in which seven terrorists were killed while one Rangers personnel sustained injuries.
The force has sealed all the entry and exit points of the area by erecting barriers.
A Rangers spokesperson said that all the killed terrorists were affiliated with a banned terrorist outfit.
The force also seized weapons and ammunitions from the terrorists possession.
