Ghinwa Bhutto apologises to Jemima Khan over ‘Israel vacation’ misinformed tweet

Author: Web Desk

Ghinwa Bhutto, widow of late Murtaza Bhutto, came under fire on social media after she quote tweeted a misinformed tweet which claimed Jemima Khan was on vacations with his sons and Tyrian White in Israel.

The random Twitter account posted an image of Jemima along with her sons and Tyrian White and it wrote that the picture is taken in the city of Tel Aviv in Jerusalem and it further added that the whole family is wearing traditional Jewish clothes.

On the other hand, Jemima immediately took to Twitter and schooled Ghinwa on the lack of knowledge and awareness.

She clarified that the picture posted was of family vacation in Mexico and the clothes which they were wearing traditional Mexican clothes called ponchos, and they are not traditional Jew attire.

Ghinwa with a heavy heart accepted her mistake and immediately realised that she was wrong. She took to Twitter and apologised for her mistake.

You just cannot thank God enough that you were born in Pakistan where if the comedy sitcoms start to disappoint you, you always have the option to switch to news channels.
