KARACHI: The Sindh High Court (SHC) heard the petition filed by Naqeebullah’s father, Muhammad Khan regarding transferring of Nqeebullah Mehsood murder case to another court today.

Muhammad Khan’s lawyer Faisal Siddiqui said that Rao Anwar isn’t being treated like a suspect by the courts and that despite being the prime suspect on charges of murder, terrorism and kidnapping, he was granted bail and is now a free man.

Siddiqui asserted that they have lost all faith in the current bench and want the case to be transferred to an impartial bench.

The SHC has sent a notice to the the prosecution and has demanded a response by 20th August.
