Four TTP commanders killed, arms recovered in Tank

Pak Army troops conducted an IBO in Ping Area FR Tank against Asmatullah Shaheen Bhittani Group of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan TTP.

According to an ISPR statement, “Four high-profile terrorists – Commander Zaman alias Toofan, Umar, commander Wasiullah and commander Zulamdin alias Zulmat – were killed.”

Weapons and ammunition were also recovered, the statement added

The group was allegedly involved in target killings, extortion and kidnapping for ransom in DI Khan, Tank and surrounding areas. Asmatullah Shaheen was an important member of TTP Shura and was killed by another TTP faction due to internal rift during 2014.

Pakistan Army is taking rapid action against militants in the tribal belt after recent terror attacks.
