Police operation to be launched in Larkana

LARKANA: An operation will be launched in Larkana against criminals and anti-social elements. A plan was devised on the directions of SSP Umar Tufail in Larkana on Monday which will be implemented over the next five days. The main objective of the three-phase operation is to cleanse the district from criminals and anti-social elements. During the first phase, police will initiate a crackdown against the drug mafia and street criminals. An anti-weapon drive will be launched in the district in the second phase to improve the law and order situation. In the third phase, a massive operation will be launched during this week against criminals in Katcha areas by establishing police checkpoints at entry and exit points.
