KARACHI: Bherulal Balani, former Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) MPA, Parliamentary Secretary for Irrigation & Power, and District Chairman of Khidmat Committee Tharparker, has announced his plan to join Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) to a Media Cell in Bilawal House on Monday.

Bherulal Balani met with PPP Sindh General Secretary Waqar Mehdi and In-charge Media Cell Bilawal House, Surendar Valasai to state his intention to join PPP and say good-bye to PML-N because of its failure in dealing with the economy and general governance of the country.

Both PPP leaders welcomed him to the Party of Jiyalas and democratic workers and assured Balani that PPP would continue its struggle for strengthening democracy in the country.

Meanwhile, Balani expressed his complete confidence in the leadership of Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, adding that he believed he was the only hope in Pakistan who could take the country away from multiple crises and lead the nation towards peace, prosperity, and equality. He asserted that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is the only voice for the broken and downtrodden and he thanked him for being vigilant against the injustices against minorities; including the Dalits of which Balani is a member.

Balani pledged that he would work day and night in Tharparker and other parts of Sindh province, and all those people who had supported him earlier would accompany him in joining the PPP.
