Protest against Sehwan suicide attack

ISLAMABAD: The Quaidian Sindh Forum (QSF) along with the civil society has organised a peaceful protest against the fresh wave of terrorism in the country especially the suicide attack at the shrine of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar. The protest was held here on Monday outside the National Press Club. Speaking on the occasion Jami Chandio, political analyst, Dr. Farzana Bari, Dr. Saeed Rid, Nisar Panhwar, Shehzadi Hussain Jarwar, Ghulshan Leghari, Fizza Qureshi, Gulzar Wasan, Ibrahim Kunbhar, Fatima Atif, Tarique Siyal and others addressed. They strongly condemned the terrorist attack on Sehwan Sharif and expressed grief over the loss of precious lives. They termed the attack as against the progressive, tolerant Sufi thoughts prevailing in Pakistan. They said that the recent wave of terrorism in Sehwan Sharif, Lahore, Quetta and other parts of the country was a direct assault on the ideology of Quaid-e- Azam. “The elements behind these sabotage activities should be brought to justice without wasting any time” they demanded. These terrorist acts should be dealt with iron hands, the protesters stressed.
