City police arrested four suspects on Thursday for the rape and murder of a minor.
The seven-year-old’s body was found from Gulistan-e-Jauhar locality. A medical examination confirmed that she was sexually assaulted before the assailants killed her. The police team said that all four of the suspects were close relatives of the child, adding that one of them had confessed to the crime during interrogation. However, they said that DNA samples of the suspects would also be collected for examination, and action would be taken on the basis of the findings.
