A meeting of the bureau’s executive board took the decision in the light of media reports, which said several officials had allegedly caused a loss of Rs 4 billion to the national exchequer. The NAB ordered inquiries into allegations levied against officials of the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) and NESPAK. The officials have been accused of abuse of authority, causing a loss of Rs 4 billion to the national kitty.
