Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo and former prime minister Nawaz Sharif Thursday directed the party leaders to continue protests against alleged rigging in the July 25 general elections.

In a meeting with PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif and other party leaders including Khawaja Saad Rafique, Khawaja Asif, Pervez Rasheed, Marriyum Aurangzeb, Ahsan Iqbal, Ayaz Sadiq and Mushahid Hussain at the Adiala Jail, Nawaz urged the party leaders to ensure active participation in the all-parties conference (APC).

Sources said Nawaz Sharif, clad in orange shalwar kameez, was looking healthy and determined.

Later, Shehbaz Sharif and other party leaders also met Maryam Nawaz in the prison.
